The baker and photographer behind Butternut Bakery. I started as a way to share my passion for baking, the kind that involved flour, butter, and sugar. You know, the good stuff. But a year into my blog, I developed (and since healed) digestive issues and discovered I have a sensitivity to both gluten and dairy.
That’s why I’m so passionate about creating desserts for all diets. Here you’ll find a mix of traditional and modified recipes to satisfy every sweet tooth.
I officially started Butternut Bakery back in 2018, after sharing all of my content on Instagram for a few months. I gained so many requests for the actual recipes that I decided to start a blog, so now here we are!
I grew up on box cake mixes and easy bake ovens, but it wasn’t until high school when I started to experiment with creating my own recipes from scratch and since then, I haven’t stopped baking. Everything I’ve learned has come from years of trial and error.
Yes, all of the food photography you see here is done by me. But unlike baking, I haven’t always had a love for photography. It wasn’t until I started the blog that I became obsessed with the photography process, and it’s something I’m equally passionate about as I am with baking.
I actually use two different cameras and lenses. Click here for a full write up on all of the gear I use in my photos!
Yes! I only collaborate with brands I know and love. Past and current partnerships include Bob’s Red Mill, Danish Creamery, and Fleischmann’s Yeast. If you’re interested in working together, feel free to send an email to myself ([email protected]) and my manager [email protected]) for more info.
I love working with brands that authentically align with my content, whether that’s through sponsorships, recipe development, or ambassadorships.
I also help elevate brands through content creation for social, web, and print use.
Please feel free to reach out to both myself: [email protected] and my manager: [email protected]
While I’ve been baking for years, I picked up my very first camera when I started Butternut Bakery back in 2018. Since then, I’ve developed a passion for food photography and love seeing my desserts come to life through the lens.
