WHAT YOU NEED All Purpose Flour Baking Soda Kosher Salt Unsalted Butter Granulated Sugar Pure Maple Syrup Vanilla Extract Egg Yolk Milk 85% Cocoa Dark Chocolate Bar Flaky Sea Salt

1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. 2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the butter, sugar, and maple syrup, followed by the vanilla, egg yolk, and vanilla. 3. Pour in the dry ingredients and use a rubber spatula to fold the dough together.

4. Add the chopped chocolate and fold to combine. 5. Scoop the cookie dough out onto the baking sheet. 6. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown and the center looks a bit lighter than the outside. 7. Sprinkle with flaky sea salt and transfer to a cooling rack to cool completely.
