WHAT YOU NEED cake flour all purpose flour salt baking soda unsalted butter granulated sugar light brown sugar vanilla extract eggs sparkling sugar
1. Whisk together the dry ingredients and set aside. 2. In another bowl, using a hand or stand mixer with the paddle attachment, mix together the melted butter and sugars on medium speed until it completely comes together. Mix in the egg, egg yolk, and vanilla.
3. Mix in the dry ingredients in thirds until it all comes together. Careful not to over mix to make a more dense but tender cookie.
