Description
This Easter puppy chow is a festive take on a no bake classic! It’s made salty and sweet where white chocolate and powdered sugar are balanced with sunflower seed butter, pretzels, popcorn, and rice square cereal. This Easter bunny chow is so easy to make but is always an absolute crowd pleaser!
Ingredients
Easter Bunny Chow
- 5 cups rice square cereal
- 3 cups popcorn (no butter and lightly salted is best)
- 2 cups mini pretzels (regular or gluten free)
- 1 cup (240g) Creamy SunButter
- 1 11oz bag white chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup (55g) salted butter, sliced (add a good pinch of kosher salt if using unsalted)
- 2 cups powdered sugar, or more as needed
- 3/4 cup chocolate covered sunflower seeds or candy coated chocolates
- 3/4 cup bunny grahams (optional)
Instructions
Easter Bunny Chow
- In a large bowl suited for a lid, add the cereal, popcorn, and pretzels.
- In a medium saucepan, add the SunButter, white chocolate chips, and butter (and salt if needed).
- Place over medium heat and stir to melt. Once smooth and completely melted, pour over the dry ingredients and stir to coat.
- Pour in 2 cups of powdered sugar and place the lid on the bowl. Shake the bowl to coat.
- Toss in the bunny grahams and chocolate covered sunflower seeds.
- Serve however you like and store in a large ziplock bag (make sure the chow has completely cooled before storing). Enjoy!
Notes
GLUTEN FREE – Use gluten free pretzels and leave out the bunny grahams to make this recipe gluten free! Also double check to make sure all the rest of your ingredients are fully gluten free.
