- 1/2 cup powdered sugar, divided
- 6 cups chex cereal, dividedย
- 1 cup orange candy melts
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
- 2 tsp coconut oil, divided
- 1 cup Halloween M&Ms (optional)
Instructions
- First, grind 6 Oreos in a food processor. Now in one large ziplock bag, add 1/4 cup of the ground Oreos and 1/4 cup of powdered sugar. Zip and shake. Use this for the orange coating.

- In a large bowl, add 3 cups of chex mix. Now in a small heat-safe dish or measuring glass, melt the orange candy melts with 1 teaspoon of coconut oil in the microwave. Heat in 30 second intervals until smooth (about 90 seconds total).ย
- Pour over the chex and carefully stir to coat. Add the coated cereal to the designated ziplock bag and shake to coat. Pour the cereal onto a large tray covered in parchment paper.
- Now add the other 3 cups of cereal to that same bowl (no need to clean it). Repeat this same process but now with the semisweet chocolate chips.
